If you’re coming to Morocco by plane, you are probably going to arrive at the country’s biggest city: Casablanca. Here you will find the busiest airport in Morocco, with flights from around the globe. This is the reason that most people’s first impression of Morocco is Casablanca. But there is so much more to see in Morocco than just Casablanca, and the best way to get from city to city is of course by using our Casablanca Taxi service!

Best excursions from Casablanca

Casablanca is a great starting point in Morocco because it is centrally located. Marrakech is located 3 hours to the south, and Tangier is located 3 hours to the north, so Casablanca is a great base to explore the rest of the country. In Morocco there is something for everyone, so if you are visiting and want to explore, here are our recommended excursions from Casablanca:

Casablanca to Marrakech – It’s just a 3 hour drive, and the roads are in great condition, so it’s not too far to travel in one day if you have limited time in Morocco. But Marrakech deserves at least 2-3 days to explore and fully appreciate.

Casablanca to Rabat – Very close to Casablanca so it’s worth visiting just to see a different side of Morocco. While Casablanca is quite a cosmopolitan city with a big international community and international companies, Rabat is quite a different story.

Casablanca to Tangier – Tangier is a historically significant city in Morocco, and has a distinctive charm not present in other Moroccan cities. The roads are again in great condition so it’s worth the drive, which follows the coastal motorway on the west coast.

Casablanca to Fes – This Moroccan city has become more and more popular in recent years, but it’s still surprisingly difficult to get to. From Casablanca, it’s about a 3 hour drive, but feels like it is a world away!
